The 2008 edition of the Canadian Ecohealth Training and Awards Program is now open!

Please consult the call for applications for more information on the application process, the grants being offered and the application deadline.

The application procedure for graduate students and professionals wishing to take part in the  Ecosystem Approaches to Health short course is the following:

1. Carefully read the information in the call for applications. For additional information consult the section on frequently asked questions.
   You can also preview an example of the applicant form.

2. Create an account and open a new application.

3. For each of the four sections in the application form fill in the all the fields and save each of the completed sections at the bottom of the page. This information will be saved in your account and you can return to it at anytime. The sections appear in the left hand side navigation bar, click on the name of the section to make it appear.

4. Once the four sections have been completed, confirm the application and send it on-line. At this point, a PDF document of the application will be created automatically. You are strongly encouraged to save a copy of the document.

5. Applications do not need to be sent by mail or by email.

6. The two letters of recommendation are to be filled out on-line. Provide your referees with the following address www.copeh-canada.org/formulaire/form_referant_en.php, the title of your research or development project, and e-mail address. On the web site, the referees will fill in the electronic form, print the completed form, sign it and mail it in a sealed envelop, signed on the seal, to the address indicated in the instruction for referees. Two reference letters are requested only for graduated students applying to the Graduate Training Award.

7. The applicants selected to participate in the intensive training course in the Ecohealth approach will be notified at the email address indicated in the application form.

Please note that proof of registration or acceptance to a graduate studies program in a recognized Canadian university will be requested from those applicants selected for the Graduate Training Awards.

The procedure for the referees of graduated students applying for the Graduate Training Award is the following:

1. Access the electronic form for the letter of reference.

2. Complete each of the fields. It is important to verify that the name and e-mail of the applicant are correct and that the title of the project is identical to the one which is sent by the applicant.

3. Save the information.

4. Print and sign the form.

5. Send the signed document by mail, to the following address, in a sealed envelop, signed on the seal.
